Marc A. Tribble, MD, FACP, FIDSA, AAHIVS

As a physician in private practice since 2003, and one of D Magazine’s Top Docs since 2007, Dr. Marc Tribble has focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered medical care, using the latest in evidence-based treatments.  A native of Arlington, TX, Dr. Tribble attended Baylor University in Waco, TX, before completing his medical training at UTMB-Galveston, Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, and UT-Southwestern/ Parkland Hospital/ Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dallas. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and remains on staff at Baylor-Dallas. In addition to direct patient care, he has been involved in the education of 3rd and 4th year medical students, Internal Medicine residents, and Infectious Diseases fellows.  In March 2020, Dr. Tribble launched his own private practice, MD Progressive Care, where he will continue serving the needs of persons living with HIV, Hepatitis C, and other infectious diseases, as well as providing general Primary Care to the community. Since entering practice, Dr. Tribble has treated over 3,000 persons living with HIV, and participated in more than 30 clinical trials for HIV medications and treatments, across all phases of development.

Peter Triporo, ACNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Peter Triporo, APRN, ACNP-BC, PMHNP-BC is a Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in HIV and Psychiatry. Peter has a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and received board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Peter graduated from the University of Texas at Rio Grande with a post-master’s certificate in psychiatric mental health (addiction and general psychiatry) because he saw patients in the LGBT community struggling with addiction and depression. He has worked in a variety of practice settings including cosmetics (Botox and Juvéderm), weight loss, pain management, HIV/PREP, primary care and trans-affirming care. Peter is especially proud of the fact that he was named “The Top Ten NP in America” by the Point of Care Network in 2017. In his free time, he enjoys unwinding with computer video games, working in his vegetable garden, and is the proud dad of two dachshunds (wiener dogs).

Luis Valdes Castillo, FNP-C

Luis Valdes Castillo, FNP-C, has joined Dr. Marc Tribble at MD Progressive Care, located in the heart of the Oak Lawn community. Luis has over 12 years of medical experience. His areas of clinical interest include primary care, Diabetes treatment, HIV Treatment & Prevention (PrEP), STD treatment, and LGBT care. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of HIV Medicine. He accepts all major medical insurance plans and speaks English & Spanish.

Eric Klappholz, APRN-CNP

dr Eric attended Texas Woman's University where he graduated with honors (Sigma Theta Tau) and earned a Master's in Science as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. In addition, he holds a Bachelor's of Science in nursing and a Bachelor's of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Eric is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
